Dr. Elisa Maseroli received her MD and Postgraduate Diploma in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases from the University of Florence, School of Human Health Sciences, Italy, in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Mario Maggi. She then earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Department of Experimental and Clinical Biomedical Sciences “Mario Serio” at the same university in 2020.

Since 2017, Dr. Maseroli has been a clinician at the Andrology and Gender Endocrinology Unit (directed by Prof. Linda Vignozzi) at Careggi Hospital in Florence, Italy.

Dr. Maseroli holds several positions in the field of sexual medicine and endocrinology. She is:

• Chair of the ESSM Female Ultrasound School (European Society for Sexual Medicine)

• Member of the Ad Hoc Research Grants Committee and Nominating Committee of the International Society for Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH)

• Board Member of the Italian Society of Andrology and Sexual Medicine (SIAMS)

• Member of the International Consultation on Sexual Medicine (ICSM 2024) for the Clinical Evaluation and Treatment of Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder in Women

• Co-Chair of the Women’s Endocrinology Committee of the Italian Society of Endocrinology (SIE)

• Member of the ISSWSH/ISSM 2025 Scientific Committee

• Chair of the Webinar Subcommittee of the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM)

• Associate Editor of Sexual Medicine Open Access

In 2024, Dr. Maseroli was honored with the ISSM Rising Star Award for her contributions to sexual medicine.

She is an active academic reviewer for several international journals and has co-authored over 80 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, she has contributed to multiple book chapters and invited reviews in the field of sexual medicine. She is also a frequent invited speaker and chair at international congresses.

Jennifer Lanoff, WHNP-BC, MSCP, JD, is a board-certified Women’s Health and Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner. She currently has a GYN-only practice and sees patients in Washington, DC, Chevy Chase, MD, and Falls Church, VA, where she focuses on menopause, osteoporosis, complex sexual health disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, hypoactive sexual desire disorder, persistent genital arousal disorder, and other vulvovaginal disorders such as vulvodynia, lichen sclerosus, and genitourinary symptoms of menopause (GSM) in addition to well-woman exams and related care.
Jennifer has a passion for gynecological health and well-being at all stages of life. She is a Menopause Society (formerly NAMS) Certified Provider and currently serves as the Chair of the Menopause Society Education Committee, in addition to being a peer reviewer for the Menopause Journal. She also serves on The Body Agency’s Medical Expert Board, and on the National Menopause Foundation’s (NMF) Medical Advisory Committee (MAC). She is a member of The Menopause Society, The International Menopause Society, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD), the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation, the American Urogynecology Society, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), and the Society for Family
Planning (SFP). Jennifer completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University, receiving her MSN at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Georgetown School of Nursing. Prior to entering the medical field, Jennifer earned a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and was a trial and appellate attorney for over 20 years at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

Dr. Flávia Fairbanks Ruano, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. With a career spanning over two decades, she specializes in female sexual health, menopause, and complex gynecological conditions like endometriosis. Dr. Ruano is currently the Director of the Female Sexual Health Program at UHealth Jackson System. Her academic contributions include leading roles in scientific societies such as the Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics and frequent lecturing at international conferences on women's health. Dr. Fairbanks’ clinical research and practice focus on advancing sexual health care for women, from reproductive years to post-menopause.
